PeaceFires.NET is inviting groups and individuals around the world to light fires and host conversations on 09-09-09, and then share stories of what happens in one global record. We anticipate some need for broadcast of planning and coordination news, especially related to creating OneGlobalPeaceFiresRecord.

The PeaceFiresNewsGoogleGroup will allow you to receive occasional email announcements about where fires are happening, resources for organizing local gatherings, and how to post your notes, pictures, videos and other stories to various internet services (and link them with others' postings around the world).
